The Bali Swing

Before I knew that the Bali Swing was an attraction in Indonesia, seeing occasional photos of elegantly dressed ladies swinging high over a jungle, conjured up many questions. Flash forward to 2019. One of those elegantly dressed ladies, fashion, beauty and travel blogger, Ciara Kate, graciously shared her Bali Swing experience on my BLEATIVITY blog. Check out her post, My “Bali Swing View” for her perspective!

Skipping Met Gala 2019 photos

For the past two years, I’ve posted Met Gala Red Carpet photos on BLEATIVITY. This year, I’m working on launching and, since I’m so close, I don’t want to stop to post Met Gala photos, which is a project in itself. It’s possible that I may decide to post some 2019 Met Gala photos later in the year, though.

You can find Met Gala 2017 and 2018 photos at the following links.

Also, one of BLEATIVITY contributors, Janee Barbre, shared a very creative post about the 2017 Met Gala Red Carpet. You can check it out at: MET Gala 2017 Recap: Fave Looks, Designer Props, and Side-Eyes

My go-to Laptop: The MacBook Pro 13 Inch Laptop

Though my mid 2009 MacBook Pro is now 10 years old, it is my go-to laptop. It is reliable, durable, and it has been capable of doing everything I’ve needed it to do.

I originally bought the MacBook Pro because of my interest in time-lapse photography. I always used to watch Tom Skilling on the WGN News, so that I could see the time-lapse weather segment intro. Then, one day, I decided that it was time to get up off the couch and start creating time-lapses of my own.

After doing some research, I decided the MacBook Pro would be the best laptop for creating time-lapse videos, and that was the beginning.

One of the things that I liked best, in the early years of owning the Mac, was that it was able to run all of my Windows programs, using Parallels for the Mac. That saved me a lot of money, as I did not have to buy all new software for the MacBook Pro. Plus, it enabled me to perform the tasks I needed to in Windows, while learning the Mac software.

Now, 10 years later, I use the MacBook Pro mainly for developing websites. Though I have newer laptops, my 2009 MacBook Pro laptop is still my go-to laptop.
